Students at Furman have a great overall experience on a beautiful campus...even if classes do kick their butt sometimes. Known for a reputation of having a student body comprised of rich, preppy, Bible-toting Southern White kids, you may feel that its great academic reputation is not enough of a reason to go here if you aren't of the majority. Fear not though; Furman is working hard to open up the school to be more diverse.
